Strike Force Five is a new podcast from late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Fallon that will go to support their striking writing staffs.
It's a fun informal hang of a podcast (and why I said it wouldn't work for you and your friends), but once they find a groove, their natural talents for building off the jokes of the others and returning to comedic points throughout the podcast's runtime shine.
Colbert delivers a truly incredible story at one point.
And the rest just benefits from what a small world they inhabit, knowing the same people and working in similar spaces throughout their careers. It all goes to a good cause, and it can scratch the itch of the missing late-night shows.
