A Useful 'Survivor 50' Preview

I was excited for last night's premiere of Survivor 50, even though I didn't watch it until tonight.

Here's my confession: I went many, many of those seasons without giving the show the time of day. Luckily for me (I guess), this big-deal season is full of people I know from the few seasons I have watched (mid-40s and up).

But did that knowledge actually help me get a sense for what we're in for this season? That's a big negative.
